A couple of restaurant reviews

Hot Shots

This is a somewhat fastfood restaurant that specialized in burgers! (I said fast food since they used the paid-before-you-eat system). I always wanted to try this restaurance since ages ago, but only until recently that I finally had the chance to actually try their burgers! If you like flame broiled burgers, I strongly suggest you try Hot Shot. They made their own beef patties (from ground beef and all). I always love hamburgers that made from real meat and flamebroiles, not the microwaveable from the junkfood restaurants. The recommended burger is CRISPY BURGER (it's crispy because inside they have bacon bits), and if you like wasabi, why not try the KAMIKAZE BURGER (it has wasabi on top of the mayo, you can ask them to tone down the wasabi a bit). Another thing to try is their salad with house dressing (I think the use honey mustard and feta cheese). They also have 3 kinds of fries: the shoestrings, wedges and curly ones! So what are you waiting for? Oh Yeah, I almost forgot the price, it's about Rp. 50,000/person (not cheap but worth it). Go for the meal package to save a few bucks ^^

Pizza Marzano

If you have JCO (the Krispy Kreme's rip off) now we have Pizza Marzano, the original idea behind Izzi's Pizza. It's a pizza franchise from Spain (in UK they are called Pizza Express), another restaurant from Mitra Adi Perkasa (the giant retailer that owned Sogo, Starbucks etc etc..and soon to be Krispy Kreme). If you like Izzi's Pizza, then you probably like Marzano. From what I tried last sunday, I might prefer Marzano to Izzi in the future. They have more pizza selections than Izzi P. But I think Izzi's dougballs still have the thumbs up. Next I am going to try their infamous bakes mushrooms and Peking Duck Pizza (the other pizza place that has this menu is CPK). So yeah, I am going to go to Marzano again tommorow night, and will give another review. You can find Pizza Marzano at Djakarta Theatre and Senayan City (they have plans to open another one in Menteng)

Beef Frankfurter

This is not a new restaurant. You probaly saw this restaurant a gazilion times at Plaza Indonesia when walking out from the Sogo Supermarket. Well, after recommendations from my friends, I finally tried this restaurant. It's a hot dog restaurant, and I love it!!!! I love their bratwurst hot dog! The combinantion of mustard and ketchup is really good. I always love hotdogs ^__^ If you like bratwurst and regular sausages, do try Frankfurter if you havent. They just opened a new restaurant in Senayan City

man, I am such a regular in Senayan City, this week alone, I've been there for 3 times (in one week, and there aren't many stores open yet in SC). Next restaurants I'm thinking to try are: Kembang Goela (maybe for birthday), Poke Sushi (before my 2nd tooth removal surgery), Nan Xiang (since their xiao long bao is made from PORK!) and Wine Tei.
