Btw, Brandon is the new Superman. It's in theatres right now. He's superman with superbulge where it counts!! *evil grin*

I watched the Gilmore Gilrs season 1 yesterday, found Brandon on the 13th episode playing this college guy who picked up girls at the concert and got yelled by Lauren Graham ^__^

phoo if last summer was Christian Bale, then this summer is Brandon Routh. What's wrong with me and super heroes?

I am so thinking to stay at home tommorow afternoon just to catch MTV Movie Awards premier on MTV Asia, since Bale received the Best Hero that was given by Brandon Routh (yiikes a combo of Batman and Superman)

Last posting was a year ago. I almost decided to kill this blog alltogether, but decided not to. I want to try to blog again. But my personal main blog now is at http://totoro79.livejournal.com. LS if fun to bitch about people and just rants about some random stuffs. While blogspot is too general, anyone can see it. Cannot really publicly voice my opinions (God forbid someone hate me and throw me in jail loh!).

So this year's theme is taken from Bleach (anime) featuring Kurosaki Ichigo, Kuchiki Rukia and Abarai Renji. I am into Bleach anime rite now. Actually I once watched it on loan from nenek_guru about a year ago (before leaving from China), but decided not to continue watching (not so interesting at that point). Then early this year, around new year's day, I was sick with Flu, with fever, runy nose and sore throat. Stayed at the apartment for about 3-4 days doing nothing but sleep. Then once or twice coming out to the livingroom to catch nenek watching Bleach, once or twice I watched it with here. Turned out QUITE FUNNY and SERU! (i saw a few episodes in the middle). Then after going back to Indonesia for good, decided to borrow the whole Bleach batch from nenek, finished 60 or so episodes in scant of days and rite now I decided to collect the whole thing. I no longer buy Anime from Animemachi (the price is just killing me lah!), I get the updated anime from Mangga Dua (which cost me only 5000 IDR). So yeah the anime is still playing in Japan, if you like Rurouni Kenshin you probably like this. It has action, comedy and a bit drama and bishounen. The anime is just another Kenshin or Inuyasha. It is a story about Shinigamis (death gods).

I have been back from Beijing for about 3 months (or so) already started working at my dad's again. Lo and Behold, I also regularly go to the gym (well not the so fancy one, just near my place lah), not for losing weight but more like maintaining. In Beijing, everyday I walked so much (about 2 or 3 KM), so yeah kinda missing the walking workout. PLUS actually the gym thing is to accompany my mom sih, without her probably to lazy to do it meh!

so What have I done/learned/missed in Beijing, China for the past 1,3 year?
1. the Mandarin language of course (ie: this is one important language since if you see last weeks' TIME magazine abouth XUE HAN YU..learning mandarin is the HIP thing). Basically rite now, I can speak, listen and write (if my memory doesn't dissapoint me). I no longer need the Indo subs if watching any chinese dramas or programs, basically with 90% understanding (yeah, it's not 100% yet lah)

2. Went to 2 concerts!! Last October I went to Rain's Beijing Live Concert and last January I went to Backstreet Boys Never Gone concert!!!! The former was a dream come true *sigh* ( I still want to go to his concert again though), the latter was wicked FUN!!! HULLO! It's BSB (I went to their Black and Blue concert in Boston in 2001), it was like walking down the memory lane. Screaming and singing like crazy!! I had a sore throat afterwards!!!

3. Went to see zaizai again! It was last Spring. After pushing every Chinese girls out there, finally saw Zaizai, Megan Lai, and Da S in a close range!! It was a torture just to see them

4. I missed ISSIN Japanese Restauran, Matsuko Jap, Sarangbang, Panda House, Shrek Kimbap, Tous Le Jours bakery etc etc....oh I do so miss wu hua rou (the fatty pork), bimbimbap, kimbap, and ISSIN's PORK cheese and with their YUMMY SOY SAUCE!!!! GAWD..

5. Missed my dvd/vcd/file supplier in Xidan!!! Oh Gosh, that laoban just know what I like. Or the fact I always spent 100 RMB for every visit!!! My SxS supplier!! He has any kinds of jap/taiwan/kor show!!! from 5566's shao nian de gong dui to SxS. Especially KATTUN!I don't like Kattun, but for some reason this Jyaniz group is a HOT COMMODITY in CHINA FANDOMWORLD!!! what d'ya know..funny funny thing

6. I went to see the Russian National Balet performing Don Quixotte. It was my first time so see a ballet performance. I still want to see Swan Lake or Giselle. Since the Russians never performed any ballet in Jakarta >__<
