MTV Style Award

yuppp....yesterday when I met Irini, I asked him who came to the MTV Chinese Style Award in Shanghai? ..and she told me David Tao was there and he sang a complete song....well Toro wasn't that interested...so I went on to have dinner with my parents....but to my surprise..my parents wanted to have early dinner since my dad wanted to be hom at 8pm (right about when the MTV Style Award was slated to start on MTV SE Asia)...since my dad needed to make intenational call to my 2nd cousin in law (is there such a term?) ....it's regarding the selling of our apartment back in Boston ^^ fulala the unfinished business that toro must finish!....to my delight Steve said It won't be any problem if I cannot come to Boston to sell this apartement (plan b: if don't get the US visa), since the certificate is under my name..we always thought that i need to be present when we're selling the apartment....(okay one big pressure is off my back!!!).....I won't be important for me to go to boston..well If I get the Visa then I will definitely go..hahahah I still need to pack up some stuffs and I would love to see my college best friend Reema who just emailed me that she's enganged!!!!! and getting married in Bombay end of this year , oh another friend is getting married ........(this would be a cry of joy and sadness!)

back on track:
well...so I started to prepare my DV cam and etc, sat in front of my television ( more like my parents' since the cable TV is in their room ^^ ).....and when the opening credits rolled...the announcer saying who's present in this award show...(thank God there's english subtitle ^^)......
Karen Mok, David Tao, Hu Yan Bin, Coco Lee, Sandra NG,. Shawn Yu ( bla bla bla toro was so no interested for these artistes!!!)....until.....the announcer said one magic word...LEE WEI.....I was like....WHAT? ........whoa this was like unexpected!!!! then toro immediately started to text messaging Dabsky........
about 15 to 20 minutes to the show.....they were announcing this MTV Style 2003 New Artist Female Movie Drama thingy for HK-Taiwan...and they showed Lee Wei's MV......and yet again toro was ! Lee Wei won an award?...Oh My (beep beep sms coming in from dabs saying he was watching KOTT 2!!!! aiyoh you were in the middle of finals and you were drooling over Lee wei....hahaha).....and Lee Wei won an award oh he looked so good with the leather jacket oh oh ....he said someting about taiwan idol drama..and the growth and how people were saying that the actings are not that good....and jia you...etc etc..(it's all english subtitle, don't think toro can actually understand the whole thing!)......

but then toro was thinking..too bad he was there just to receive an award...but WAIT..to my surprise (yet again)........ after Evonne Hsu sang her hit single (she also won the award for the female category)...then then *ngik*...the intro of AiQing Duo Bi Qiu was played then Lee Wei came out and sang the song (in english it said Dodgeball of Love)....btw this song is one of my fave..and dabs said it was composed by Richie Ren ...so here's a couple of Lee Wei's singing AiQing Duo Bi Qiu








that last scene...it was just his unconcious habit to wet his lips all the time (hum should be a spokeperson for Chapstick perhaps?)..btw this award was last year...so he still had that old hairstyle...but He will have that zui cool hairstyle for his newest ou xiang ju ^^ (oh cannot wait)......

so while I was watching this show.....suddenly my mom asked me this question of the day: (anyone can help me to answer?)

mom: HOW COME YOU WHO STUDIED AND LIVED IN UNITED STATED FOR 4 YEARS AND NOW LIKE ALL ASIAN THINGS?.....(read: elo kok jauh2 sekolah di amerika bertahun2 kok serkang bisa tergila2 ama yg cina2 sih?)

toro: *diem doang* am still wondering about that...believe me! my mom is not the first one to ask such a question!!! (rite nere.....).....
